U.S. Congress Delegation Visits Parliament Speaker Arinc

ANKARA - Turkish Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc on Monday received U.S delegation formed by members of the Turkey Working Group, which is on a formal visit to Turkey.
Edward Whitfield, the Co-chairman of the working group, referred to the general elections that are due July 22nd, saying the visit takes place at a very historical time. He mentioned Cyprus and European Union as issues that are currently on the agenda of Turkey.
Whitfield stated that the delegation received a briefing on northern Iraq, and added "we want to cooperate in order to strengthen the relations between two countries."
