Bush likely to name Wolfowitz replacement this week

GLYNCO - US President George W. Bush is likely to name a new World Bank president this week to replace Paul Wolfowitz, White House spokesman Tony Snow said Tuesday.
Asked how close Bush was to finding or naming a replacement for Wolfowitz, who announced his resignation after a nepotism controversy, Snow told reporters: "I think we`re getting pretty close."
Asked during a briefing on Air Force One whether it could happen this week, Snow replied: "Likely, yes."
