ANKARA - The 23rd meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Standing Committee for Economic & Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) Follow-up Committee will start in Ankara on Tuesday.
A delegation led by State Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Abdullatif Sener will attend the meeting at Ankara`s Sheraton Hotel on behalf of Turkey.
Representatives of Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Qatar, Kuwait, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Sierra Leone will be in attendance at the meeting.
The meeting will end on May 31st.
COMCEC follows up the implementation of resolutions in the areas of economy and trade, explores possible means of strengthening cooperation among the member states, and prepares programs and proposals capable of improving capacities in these areas. It is chaired by the president of the Republic of Turkey.
