ISTANBUL - Turkish Industrialists` & Businessmen`s Association (TUSIAD) is set to host Democrat Party (DP) Chairman Mehmet Agar and Motherland (Anavatan) Party Chairman Erkan Mumcu on Tuesday.
The meeting will be held as part of TUSIAD`s meeting series with political party leaders ahead of general elections to be held on July 22nd.
Turkish business circles first met Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan last week.
Agar and Mumcu will share their party policies with TUSIAD members and they will also answer questions by businessmen, said TUSIAD in a statement on Monday.
Agar and Mumcu agreed to get united under the umbrella of "Democrat Party" in early-May. Agar`s DYP revoked itself and adopted the name Democrat Party after a party congress on Sunday.
Motherland Party congress will convene next weekend to join Democrat Party.
