MERSIN - A Turkish textile firm based in Karabuk exports approximately 6 million pairs of socks to France, Germany and the Netherlands annually.
Adnan Kalem, the CEO of Kalemler Textile company, told AA on Thursday that they export 3 million euro worth of products. The firm has sold 500,000 pairs of socks to Germany during the World Cup finals in 2006.
We export 75 percent of our products to France, and 20 percent to Germany and the Netherlands, said Kalem.
Kalem expressed the firm's intention for expanding in the domestic market, which has a share of only 5 percent in their total sales currently.
