Sarkozy Not To "Add Fuel To The Fire" On Turkey's EU Bid

BRUSSELS - French President Nicholas Sarkozy faced opposition from Commission chief and Belgian premier over his attitude on Turkey`s EU bid, sources said Wednesday.
Sarkozy was informed about Brussels` position on Turkey and was "warned", sources added, as he held separate meetings with Jose Barroso and Guy Verhofstadt.
Sarkozy will not "bug his European allies and add fuel to the fire" on Turkey`s EU membership, sources said.
