Seizure Of Plastic Explosives In Adana

-ADANA GOVERNOR ATIS: "IT WAS UNDERSTOOD THAT FEMALE DETAINEE WAS A SUICIDE BOMBER"

ADANA - Governor Ilhan Atis of the southern city of Adana said on Wednesday that the woman, who was captured with plastic explosives and grenades earlier in the day, was planning to stage a suicide attack.
Atis told the A.A, "acting on a tip-off, security forces seized two people while trying to escape in a car. She had 11.3 kg of explosive, two grenades and 12 detonators in her bag. We will make a detailed statement once the investigation is completed."
Security forces found an ID card on the female suspect bearing a name with initials "H.K." who is 31 years old.
