ISTANBUL - Freedom of thought in Turkey and its neighbors and regional countries will be discussed in the Fifth Istanbul Meeting, organized by the Uskudar Municipality and Freedom of Thought Association, the municipality said on Wednesday.
According to a statement by the municipality, the meeting will be held on May 25th-27th and dedicated to Hrant Dink, the editor-in-chief of Agos weekly who died in an armed attack in January.
Representatives of NGOs from Bulgaria, Greece, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Greek Cypriot administration, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia, as well as executives of international organizations and societies will participate in the meeting.
