ANKARA - Pakistan condemned the bomb attack that was staged in Anafartalar Shopping center in Ulus during rush-hour on Tuesday evening where 10 Pakistani citizens were also wounded.
An official of the Pakistani Embassy in Ankara spoke to AA correspondent on Wednesday and said they condemned terrorism regardless of its place or manner. The Embassy official who asked not to be identified said those who were responsible for the attack were not friends of Turkey or Pakistan.
The official who qualified the attack as unfortunate, emphasized the need to counter terrorism in collaboration.
The Pakistani citizens who were wounded at the attack were Pakistani businessmen visiting Turkey for IDEF 07(International Defense Industry Fair) and were in Ulus during the attack for sightseing and shopping.
Stating that two of the wounded Pakistanis were discharged from the hospital and medical condition of others is good, the Pakistani official expressed the gratitude he felt over the affinity and care shown to his wounded fellow citizens.
