Number Of Injured Rises To 100 After Blast In Ankara

ANKARA - The number of injured rose to 100 after the explosion in a shopping center in the Turkish capital of Ankara, Governor's Office announced early on Wednesday.
According to the office, six people died in the blast at Anafartalar shopping mall in Ulus neighborhood.
The preliminary reports put the death toll at four, and the number of injured around 80.
"16 of the injured are in serious condition, and under intensive care. Six people are undergoing surgeries. Ten of the injured are Pakistani citizens. 12 of the injured were discharged from hospitals (after receiving necessary treatments)," the office added.
Four of those who lost their lives in the explosion were identified as Isa Kalkis, Serdar Karayigit, Bilal Genc and Tuba Yomi. Efforts are under way to identify the other two people who were killed in the explosion.
