Explosion In Ankara -U.S. Embassy Expresses American People's Shock And Horror

WASHINGTON D.C. - "On behalf of the American people, we express our shock and horror at the tragic event that occurred this evening in Ankara," said the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, releasing a statement after the explosion in a shopping center that killed 6 and injured over 80.
"We remain steadfast in our determination to work together with the government of Turkey to combat terrorism in all its forms," the Embassy said.
"We reach out in sympathy and solidarity to the victims of this heinous crime and stand ready to provide every possible assistance," it added.
Meanwhile, in his daily press briefing, spokesman of the U.S. Department of State Sean McCormack said that they commiserated with those who lost their beloved ones in the explosion.
