Explosion In Ankara -four People Killed

ANKARA - Four people were killed in an explosion in the Turkish capital city of Ankara.
Sources said that the explosion occurred in a shopping center in the busiest commercial neighborhood of the capital city at around 16.45 local time.
The explosion caused heavy damage in the shopping center and nearby buildings.
After bomb disposal teams completed their search in the scene, search-and-rescue and fire-fighting teams entered the building.
Four bodies were recovered from the shopping center.
Ankara Governor Kemal Onal said that nearly 20 people were injured in the explosion.
Seventeen people, who were injured in the explosion, were rushed to hospitals.
There are four Pakistani citizens among the injured people.
Mehmet Yilmaz, an eyewitness, told the A.A that they heard a loud noise and saw blaze coming out of the shopping center.
"We saw a person in blaze. We tried to save him by covering him with a piece of cloth," he said.
"The bush stop in front of the shopping center was crowded when the explosion occurred. There were some 40 injured people. We sent them to nearby hospitals," he added.
Another eyewitness said that the explosion shattered windows and scattered debris onto the street.
On the other hand, Ankara High Criminal Court Prosecutor's Office for terror and organized crimes launched a criminal investigation regarding the explosion.
Prosecutor Mustafa Kelkit told the A.A that the cause of the blast was not clear yet and their investigations were under way.
