Pratt And Whitney Signs Agreement With Alp Aviation

ANKARA - Pratt And Whitney signed an agreement with Alp Aviation in Turkish capital of Ankara on Tuesday, regarding F-35 engine.
"This new order is a big success for Alp Aviation," said Tuncer Alpata, the chairman of Executive Board of Alp Aviation, during the signature ceremony held on the sidelines of IDEF 2007 Defense Industry Fair.
The agreement between Alp Aviation and Pratt And Whitney, the main manufacturer of F-35 engine, enables production of most important parts of F-35s in Turkey.
