Turkey Facing Threats Due To Economic & Cultural Clashes, Mumcu

ANKARA - "Turkey is facing a big threat and danger due to clashes in economic, ethnic and cultural ghettos, rural and urban areas," Erkan Mumcu, the chairman of the Motherland Party, said on Tuesday.
"In this country, religion and the state are presented as if they are opposing each other. This is a betrayal to the state, religion and homeland," Mumcu told the gathering of his party at the parliament.
On the other hand, Mumcu said, "if the voters cast their votes for this party (Justice & Development Party) despite this, it means that they are ready to experience the same fate."
