No Need To Attend Panel Discussion With Mr. Baykal, Erdogan

ANKARA - PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday he did not think it will be opportune to attend a panel discussion on TV --within the framework of election campaign-- with Republican People`s Party chairman Deniz Baykal.
PM Erdogan answered questions of journalists while leaving IDEF`07 (International Defense Industry Fair).
Upon a question on what he had to say on Baykal`s invitation to participate in a panel discussion Erdogan said, "in principle, I don`t feel the need to attend a panel discussion with Mr.Baykal."
"Our principles, especially on rules to be respected in a panel, don`t suit each other," added Erdogan.
