ANKARA - About 100 foreign academicians will participate in the 29th International Symposium of Excavations, Surveys & Archaeometry, announced the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage & Museums on Tuesday.
According to a statement of the directorate, the symposium is one of the most important scientific and academic activities held in the area of excavation and archeology in Turkey since 1979.
The symposium, to be attended by about 350 experts, will take place at the Kocaeli University between May 28th and June 1st.
