KONYA - An F-16 military plane crashed on Tuesday near Muhsine village in the central province of Konya after it took off from the 3rd Main Jet Base in the city, Konya Governor Osman Aydin told A.A.
He noted that the 34-year-old pilot, lieutenant Ilker Ozbil, ejected himself to safety before the crash, but he suffered minor injuries. Ozbil was taken to Selcuk University`s Meram Hospital.
The F-16 warplane crashed near Altinapa Dam.
