Turkey's Forested Areas Grow

BURSA - Turkey is one of the 20 countries which have recorded a grow in their forested areas, Forestry Director General Osman Kahveci told A.A on Tuesday.
Turkey`s forested areas grew 30,000 hectares annually in the last 30 years.
Kahveci said that according to the data, Turkey`s forested areas grew 1 million hectares in the last 30 years. He added that not only the forested areas but also the number of trees are increasing.
