ANKARA - Banks' credit volume increased 118.4 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 58 quadrillion 641.1 trillion TL between January 30 and February 6, 2004.
The total credit volume at banks was 58 quadrillion 522.7 trillion TL on January 30.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 817.8 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 596 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 136.4 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 51 quadrillion 352.6 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 738.4 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
