EDIRNE/ARTVIN/TRABZON - Turkish security forces arrested 93 illegal migrants in northwestern city of Edirne, northern cities of Artvin and Trabzon, sources said on Monday.
80 illegal migrants of Iraqi, Moroccan, Pakistani, Palestinian, Tunisian and Iranian origin, and one Turk were detained in Edirne's Ipsala, Lalapasa and Meric towns when they attempted to leave Turkey illegally.
Meanwhile, security forces captured three Georgians who entered Turkey illegally in Artvin, and ten illegal migrants of Georgian and Azerbaijani origin were arrested in Trabzon's Of town.
The illegal migrants will be deported once legal proceedings are completed.
