Representatives Of Japanese Textile Industry In Bursa

BURSA - A Japanese trade delegation, which arrived in Turkey to attend the "Home Textile Fair (Ev-Teks)" held in Istanbul, paid a visit to Uludag Exporters' Association (UIB) in Bursa on Monday.
Shinichi Muramoto, chairman of the Interior Decoration Association of Japan and head of the delegation, called Turkish textile industrialists to attend JAPANTEX 2007, which is a trade show and exposition for interior decorating and home textiles, held annually in Japan.
Underscoring that 10 Turkish companies participated in last year's fair, Muramoto said, "Unfortunately, Japanese does not know Turkey very well. Therefore, we would like to host Turkish firms in our country".
Muramoto also stressed that Turkish textile industry manufactured high quality products .
Meanwhile, chairman of UIB Textile Exporters' Association Ibrahim Burkay stated that they desired to boost the commercial relations between Turkey and Japan.
