IZMIR - An exhibition which was arranged to shed light on intensive diplomatic relations between Turkey and Romania has opened at Izmir Chamber of Trade on Monday.
The exhibition including documents from Romanian National Archives and Romanian Foreign Ministry diplomatic archives will remain open till May 30th.
Turkish-Romanian relations between the years 1614-1962 are being displayed in the exhibition in chronological order.
The Ottoman Council writings and correspondence between the two states and important documents on relations between the foreign ministries are on show at the exhibition.
Ekrem Demirtas, the Executive Board President of IZTO, indicated that, "mutual history, geography, regional and international relations enable us to have an intensive cooperation."
