Denktas: People Should Understand Well Annan Plan

LEFKOSA - Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Rauf Denktas said on Thursday that Cyprus issue would be solved through negotiations and votes that the people would cast in referendum by their will.
When he was leaving the Presidential Office for today's negotiation on Cyprus issue, Denktas told the A.A correspondent that Turkish Cypriot people should understand well U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan plan. ''If we cannot change it (the Annan plan), they should go to ballot box by taking into account their conscience,'' he added.
