MALATYA/VAN - Police seized 95.2 kg of heroin in eastern cities of Malatya and Van, sources said on Sunday.
Acting on a tip-off, anti-drug squad stopped and searched a truck in Malatya, confiscating 59.5 kg of heroin. Two people were arrested in connection with the haul.
On the other hand, gendarme teams seized 35.7 kg of heroin in an operation in Gurpinar town of Van. Two people were arrested in the operation.
