LEFKOSA - "Turkish Cypriots want a solution for Cyprus question. Division of Cyprus negatively affects both peoples in the island," said President Mehmet Ali Talat of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) who received Graham Watson, Liberal Democrat member of European Parliament, on Friday.
Talat expressed unfairness of isolations over TRNC, and demanded the international community to lift the isolations.
On the other hand, Watson said that they are exerting efforts for both Turkish and Greek Cypriots to benefit from EU as well as for finding a solution to Cyprus question.
Watson added that they want to work together with political powers in Cyprus to overcome several problems by establishing a frame within the EU.
