ESKISEHIR - Turkish-Korean Friendship Monument was inaugurated in Turkish central Anatolian city of Eskisehir on Friday.
The monument was built within the scope of sister city protocol which was signed between Eskisehir and Paju city of South Korea.
Eskisehir Metropolitan Mayor Yilmaz Buyukersen said that the monument will symbolize the friendship between Turkey and South Korea.
On the other hand, Paju Mayor Ryoo Hwa-Sun said that they have signed a friendship protocol between municipalities of Eskisehir and Paju.
Hwa-sun noted that this protocol as well as inauguration of the monument are very meaningful as this is the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Turkey and South Korea.
