ANKARA - Democratic Left Party (DSP), which will cooperate with Republican People`s Party (CHP) in the upcoming general elections scheduled for July 22nd, decided not to run for the elections in its party assembly meeting on Friday.
A statement released after the meeting which lasted for two and a half hours said, "the party decided not to run for the general elections to be held on July 22nd by taking into consideration of difficult conditions in the country."
DSP deputy candidates will be included in candidate lists of CHP within the scope of the electoral cooperation.
