ANKARA - Turkey will send 8 tons of foodstuff to assist Iraqis living in Mosul, Turkish (MFA) announced on Thursday.
According to a statement by the MFA, Turkey will make this donation within the scope of regular humanitarian assistance to Iraq.
"A military plane will leave (for Mosul) Friday. The foodstuff will be delivered to Iraqi Red Crescent via Turkey`s Consulate General in Mosul, and then will be distributed to the people living in camps near the city, where displaced people are residing," the statement added.
