IGDIR - International environmental organization Greenpeace builds a ship, which is identical to the Noah`s Ark, on Turkey`s highest mountain Agri to draw people`s attention to the global warming and warn world leaders to take necessary measures.
In an interview with the A.A, Gerward Here, coordinator of the project said on Friday that a 19-member team of Turkish and German carpenters were currently building the 10-metre long ship.
He said that the climate change could be the biggest calamity faced by the human race after the Deluge.
Here called on all countries should work together save the future of our planet.
An inaugural ceremony will take place on May 31st. During the ceremony, Greenpeace activists will call on world leaders to take urgent action to protect climate.
