ANKARA - Turkish Parliament approved a draft law envisaging the establishment of 17 new universities in Turkey in the general assembly on Thursday.
The law foresees establishment of new universities in southern cities of Karaman and Osmaniye, eastern cities of Agri, Bitlis, Bingol and Mus, northern cities of Sinop and Karabuk, southeastern cities of Siirt, Kilis, Mardin and Batman, central cites of Nevsehir and Cankiri, northeastern city of Artvin and northwestern cities of Bilecik and Kyrklareli.
