ISTANBUL - "Ending our isolation is inevitable. This is a shame of humanity," Mehmet Ali Talat, the President of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), said on Thursday.
"The Greek Cypriot administration is opposing to adoption of direct trade regulation," Talat told reporters at Istanbul`s Ataturk Airport as he returned from Brussels where he took the floor in a symposium titled "Other Side of The Coin: Giving A Voice To Turkish Cypriots" and organized by the Liberal Group in the European Parliament.
Talat added, "we want the promises to be kept as soon as possible. Even tomorrow will be too late."
