ISTANBUL - Turkish Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan returned to Turkey on Thursday after attending the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) annual Ministerial Council Meeting in Paris on 15-16 May 2007.
Economy and finance ministers of OECD countries, as well as representatives of international organizations participated in the meeting.
Among issues discussed were: globalisation, growth and equity; innovation and growth; enlargement of the OECD and enhanced engagement with selected non-OECD countries; and future challenges for an open global trading system.
