5th Turkey - Iran Cultural Relations Symposium To Be Held In Tehran

TEHRAN - The 5th of the symposiums aiming to enhance the cultural relations between Turkey and Iran will be held in Tehran on May 20th.
The symposium will be held under the protocol that was signed in 2003 between Turkish Historical Society (TTK) and Iran Islamic and Cultural Relations Institute to enhance historical, scientific, cultural, and artistic relations.
A delegation of Turkish scholars, including TTK Chairman Prof. Yusuf Halacoglu and Turkish Language Society Chairman Prof. Sukru Akalin will attend the symposium.
Turkish and Iranian scholars will present papers on the history and the cultures of the two countries at the symposium which will begin on May 20th at the Azad University in Tehran.
"Konya and Mevlana" titled photo exhibition by Iranian Photographer Caspian Makan consisting of 30 photos he took in Central Turkish city of Konya will be on display at the entrance hall of the symposium.
