ANKARA - Robert Finch, Lord Mayor of the City of London, and accompanying high level financial delegation visited on Tuesday Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan.
Finch said that they wanted commercial relations between the two countries to be further improved and stated that they considered Turkey a ''country of great opportunities'' for investors.
Stating that they also wanted British investors to get benefit from those opportunities in Turkey, Finch said that Unakitan would also inform them about privatization.
Finch said that they would also take up the process of Turkey's accession to the European Union (EU) in the meeting and noted that he was currently in Turkey to express Britain's support to Turkish government in its EU process.
Finch added that they were also seeking what they could do in finance sector.
