Erdogan Sends Plane To Brussels To Take Nato Secretary General De Hoop Scheffer

ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan Wednesday sent private ATA plane to Brussels for NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer who is scheduled to visit Ankara today.
De Hoop Scheffer is expected to arrive at Ankara's Etimesgut military airport in the evening hours within the scope of courtesy visits he is paying to the capitals of ally countries.
De Hoop Scheffer will participate in a dinner which Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul would host in his honor.
De Hoop Scheffer is expected to meet with President Ahmet Necdet Sezer, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul as well as Gul on Thursday.
