RIZE - "Our government will pay 64 YKR plus a subsidy of 9 YKR, a total of 73 YKR (0.96 USD) for each kilogram of green tea purchased," said Mehdi Eker, Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on Wednesday.
The Turkish government`s minimum price for green tea has been increased by 12.3 percent this year over last year`s price.
The government paid 65 YKR for each kilogram of green tea purchased last year.
