Antalya Hosts Oti Tourism Festival 2007

ANTALYA - The "1st OTI Antalya Tourism Festival 2007" was held in Turkish southern city of Antalya with participation of 4,500 representatives from nearly 20 countries such as Commonwealth of Independent States, Balkans, Poland, Germany, Iran and Italy.
Also nearly 1,000 Turkish tourism sector representatives attended the festival which was organized by OTI Holding that has 9 companies in different countries.
Coskun Yurt, deputy chairman of OTI Holding Executive Board, told A.A that 1,880,000 Russian tourists visited Turkey annually in 2005 and 2006.
Yurt said that they aim to increase this figure 15 percent in 2007. "I think we can easily achieve it. This means 250-300,000 more Russian tourists will visit Turkey in 2007," he added.
