Meeting Of O.I.C. Tourism Experts Group

ANKARA - The meeting of the Organization of Islamic Conference`s (OIC) Tourism Experts Group held in Istanbul focused on boosting public awareness to promote mass travel towards Islamic countries.
A statement released by Turkish Culture & Tourism Ministry said on Wednesday that the second meeting of OIC Tourism Experts Group was held in Istanbul. It indicated, "OIC member states recorded progress as regards their tourist potential, in recent years."
Experts also discussed several issues, including tourist activities and bed capacity in OIC countries, as well as construction of new tourist facilities with higher standards, the statement added.
