Turkish Day In Estonia

TALLINN - The Turkish Embassy in Tallinn organized "Turkish Day" at Palmse Manor, a famous mansion in Estonia.
Foreign mission chiefs and diplomats, Turks and other nationals living in Estonia participated in the event.
Turkish pianist Zeynep Ucbasaran, who lives in the USA, gave a concert while Estonian author and translator Ly Seppel Ehin, who translated Orhan Pamuk`s novel "Kar (Snow)" into Estonian, made a brief presentation on Turkish literature during the event.
Turkish food prepared by the chef of the Embassy, Turkish wines, tea and coffee, and Turkish delight were served. Folk dances and songs were performed.
``Mozart in Turkey`` film was on the screen, and a photograph exhibition of Orhan and Fatma Durgut named "Istanbul of the Seagulls" was opened.
A lottery was held for one-week holiday in Turkey. A travel agency named Novatours, which organizes charter flights and package tours to Turkey between April and November, was the sponsor of the lottery.
