Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Topbas Leaves For U.S.

ISTANBUL - Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Kadir Topbas left for New York, the United States on Tuesday to attend "C40 Large Cities Climate Summit".
Prior to his departure, Topbas told reporters that "global warming" and "climate changes" will be discussed in the summit.
He added that the summit will be an extension of the first summit which was held in London in 2005.
Topbas will deliver a speech in regard to renewable energy systems.
The summit will continue till May 17th. Topbas is expected to return to Turkey on May 18th.
