Two Aboard Lost Plane Dead, Trabzon Governor

TRABZON - "Search teams reached the wreckage of a small private plan, which got lost on its way to Iranian city of Tabriz from Turkish northern city of Trabzon. Two people aboard the plane were dead," governor Nuri Okutan announced on Tuesday.
Okutan told the A.A correspondent that the wreckage of `Sky Arrow 650T` type plane that got lost the previous day, was found by a helicopter (Tuesday), stating that it crashed into a high region between Sicakoba and Vizera plateaus of Beskoy hamlet in Koprubasi town in Trabzon.
"The helicopter carrying search and rescue teams landed at the area where the wreckage was found. British Michael Newman and Pakistani B. Bhangoo who were aboard the plane were dead," Okutan indicated.
The small private plane that took off from Ankara, landed in Trabzon on May 10th for bunkering. It had to wait a few days at Trabzon Airport because of adverse weather conditions, and left for Tabriz at noon, on Sunday.
The plane was piloted by a British Michael Newman and a Pakistani B. Bhangoo.
