Unemployment Decreases To 11.4 Percent

ANKARA - Joblessness in Turkey decreased to 11.4 percent in the first three months of 2007, said Turkish Board of Statistics on Tuesday (TUIK).
Unemployment in the same period in 2006 was 11.9 percent.
Unemployment in urban areas stands at 13 percent while in rural areas it is 8.8 percent.
