Erdem: U.S.-Turkish Relations Are Very Important

NEW YORK - "U.S.-Turkish relations are extremely important," said Zeynel Abidin Erdem, honorary president of Turkish- American Business Association (TABA).
Delivering a speech in a meeting held by the Federation of Turkish American Associations (TADF) in New York, Erdem stated that he was working to boost the relations between Turkey and the United States.
"I believe that Turkish-U.S. relations are more important than the relations between Turkey and European countries," he stressed.
Indicating that the U.S. trade delegations` visits to Turkey made positive impacts on trade volume, Erdem noted that Turkey`s trade volume with the United States was approaching 11.3 billion U.S. dollars.
