TRABZON - Efforts to find the small private plane, which got lost on its way to Iranian city of Tabriz from Turkish northern city of Trabzon, started again on Tuesday morning.
Search and rescue efforts were suspended last night.
`Sky Arrow 650T` type plane that took off from Ankara, landed in Trabzon on May 10th for bunkering. It had to wait a few days at Trabzon Airport because of adverse weather conditions, and left for Tabriz at noon, on Sunday.
The plane was piloted by a British Michael Newman and a Pakistani B. Bhangoo.
Civil defense and gendarmery teams launched a wide-scale search and rescue operation from Caykara town towards Koprubasi town today.
