ANKARA - President Ahmet Necdet Sezer said on Tuesday that everybody wished Cyprus talks to reach a positive end that would meet the national interests of Turkey and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Sezer told reporters prior to his departure for Iran that Turkey had expressed its wish to find a permanent solution to Cyprus question one more time during the meetings in New York.
Noting that as the United Nations Secretary General had stated on February 13, a consensus was reached on the method and date of talks, Sezer said that everybody wished the talks to reach a positive end that would meet the national interests of Turkey and TRNC.
