ANKARA - Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc will go to Malta on February 19 to participate in the Fourth European-Mediterranean Parliament Speakers Conference that will be held between 20-21 February.
Parliamentary Press and Public Relations Directorate stated that Arinc will hold a news conference about his visit at Ataturk Airport before his departure on Thursday.
Arinc will firstly participate in the ''Contact Group'' meeting in which representatives of Egypt, Italy, Malta, Spain, Tunisia and European Parliament will take part.
The Fourth European-Mediterranean Parliament Speakers Conference will start on February 20 by the opening remarks of Maltese Parliament Speaker Anton Tabone. The results of the Ministers Conference held in Valencia, Crete and Naples will firstly be open to debate in the conference. Later in the same day the issue of ''Parliamentary Dialogue in European-Mediterranean Basin'' will be discussed.
On the second day of the conference, the final declaration will be discussed and voted.
Arinc will return to Turkey on February 22, Sunday.
