ISTANBUL - 98,5 kilograms of heroin was confiscated in Ambarli customs in Istanbul on Monday, sources said.
According to sources, the heroin had a market value of 5 million new Turkish liras (YTL) (one USD is equal to 1,3400 YTL), and was concealed in olive oil boxes destined for Amsterdam.
Security forces are looking for the lorry driver and others that are related with the illicit drug smuggling.
Also, security forces confiscated 24 kilograms of hashish in central Anatolian city of Kayseri.
Two people were taken into custody in connection with the haul.
