IDEF Defense Industry Fair To Start Next Week

ANKARA - The Eighth International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 07), organized by the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, will be held from May 22nd to 25th in Ankara under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defense.
The fair will host 434 firms from 45 different countries, including 157 Turkish firms. 59 German firms, 31 American, 27 Italian, 26 British and 20 French firms will also take part.
Other participants are :Israel, South Korea, Pakistan, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Iraq, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Moldova, Lithuania, Denmark and Kazakhstan will also attend the fair.
Defense ministers and general staff chiefs are expected to visit the fair.
