TRABZON - A private plane that left northern city of Trabzon for Iranian city of Tabriz on Sunday at noon, has not arrived in its destination yet.
Officials say it is likely that the plane has had an accident.
Governor of Trabzon Nuri Okutan said the plane that took off from Ankara, landed in Trabzon on May 10th for bunkering. It had to wait a few days at Trabzon Airport because of adverse weather conditions, and left for Tabriz at noon, on Sunday.
Okutan said they have been told that the plane piloted by a British and a Pakistani has not reached Tabriz yet.
Governor of Trabzon said security forces are still searching for the plane.
