NEW YORK - Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ugur Ziyal said on Friday that parties of Cyprus issue were entering a serious working process.
Ziyal told reporters that parties in Cyprus had accepted framework put forward by United Nations (U.N.) Secretary General Kofi Annan.
''We aim to conclude this process within the framework of win-and-win as our prime minister says. Turkey's good will is obvious,'' Ziyal said.
''We have put forward our good will and good faith. We aim to conclude this issue walking on the same road,'' Ziyal said.
Ziyal stated that Turkey and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) would continue efforts in close cooperation.
''Existence and security of Turkish Cypriots are of great importance for Turkey,'' Ziyal added.
